This calculator estimates the equivalent embodied carbon dioxide (CO2e) of concrete masonry single wythe assemblies and veneer assemblies either separately or combined. Material inputs include: concrete masonry units, masonry mortar, masonry grout, and reinforcement (including both mild reinforcing bars and joint reinforcement). The analysis and inputs only consider the cradle-to-gate (A1-A3) environmental impacts based on publicly available and published Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs). Default Global Warming Potential (GWP) values are included, however, these inputs may be adjusted by the user where product-specific data is known.
