The CMHA Hall of Fame was created to honor those who have made significant and lasting contributions to the masonry and hardscape industry. This prestigious recognition is awarded to individuals who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, service, and commitment to advancing the association’s mission. Through their dedication, these honorees have shaped the industry, leaving a legacy of excellence and innovation.

Nominations for the CMHA Hall of Fame award are accepted annually, with submissions open until April 25. The process involves submitting a nomination form detailing the candidate’s achievements and contributions.

Ed Fioroni

CMHA inducted Dr. Ettore “Ed” Fioroni into its Hall of Fame during the 2025 Midyear Meeting in Naples, Florida. With a career spanning more than 50 years, Dr. Fioroni has held executive roles across leading brick, concrete, and hardscape companies while shaping workforce development through education and training. His lasting impact on CMHA and the industry is marked by leadership, mentorship, and a passion for advancing professional excellence.

Charlie McGrath

CMHA is proud to celebrate the induction of Charles A. McGrath, FASAE, CAE, into the CMHA Hall of Fame, honoring his decades of exceptional leadership and lasting impact on the industry. From 1998 to 2022, McGrath served as Executive Director of the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI), guiding unprecedented growth in membership, programs, and influence, and playing a pivotal role in the 2022 unification that formed CMHA. Known for his commitment to a “member-led, staff-supported” philosophy, McGrath fostered a true partnership between industry professionals and staff, shaping the concrete segmental pavement industry for the better.

CMHA proudly inducts Rick Muth, Chairman of ORCO Block & Hardscape, into its Hall of Fame, making him and his late father, Pete Muth, the first father-son duo to receive this honor. Recognized during CMHA’s Annual Meeting in Indianapolis, Rick’s lifelong dedication to concrete masonry, family business leadership, and industry advocacy exemplifies the values of this prestigious award.

CMHA proudly inducts Steve Berry, Oldcastle APG Senior Executive and former COO, into its Hall of Fame for his influential leadership in the industry. Honored at CMHA’s 2025 Annual Meeting, Berry played a key role in unifying the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) and the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA) to form CMHA.
