Book Talk Breakfast
Join us on Tuesday, July 28 from 8:30-10:00 am for our annual book talk and breakfast gathering.
The book, The Indigo Girl by Natasha Boyd, has been chosen for this gathering. Set in 1739 South Carolina, this story follows 16-year-old Eliza Lucas, as she struggles to save her family’s failing plantations amid political tension and unrest. Determined to save it, she takes a bold risk to cultivate indigo, a valuable but elusive crop no one will teach her to produce. Defying expectations, she pursues the risky and secretive process of producing indigo dye—forming dangerous alliances and forbidden friendships along the way. Filled with ambition, betrayal, and sacrifice, it tells the story of a young woman whose bold actions were far ahead of her time.
The Book Talk Breakfast is included with all Spouse, Spouse Bundle and Guest Registrations.
