Why “This is CMHA” and Why Now
For decades, the industry was supported by two organizations: the Interlocking Concrete Pavement Institute (ICPI) and the National Concrete Masonry Association (NCMA). Each played a critical role in advancing research, standards, education and leadership.
When those organizations combined to form CMHA, the goal was simple: unify that expertise under one organization capable of supporting the full scope of concrete masonry and hardscapes systems.
While CMHA’s work has grown, awareness of its role as the industry’s unified voice is still evolving. “This is CMHA” addresses that gap — highlighting the association’s impact on the industry and the value it brings to its members.
Many professionals are familiar with CMHA through specific programs or resources, but the full scope of the association’s role includes a deeper involvement.
This platform brings together the people, standards and expertise shaping the future of concrete masonry, hardscapes, SRW and MSV industries.
It aims to:
